'Learning Through Visual Materials Phase II[1]
In the second phase of Learning Through Visual Materials, three video clips are selected from television dramas portraying pivotal events in modern Chinese history. Period dramas are still interpretations of true stories at best, but nevertheless they offer a visually immersive and circumstantially educational experience. They are also useful resources to learn subject-specific expressions and grammatical structures in Chinese. The three video clips are extracted from the dramas listed below.
